SJGames Car Wars printable weapons Kickstarter til 12-7-2022

CARnage!

Link to the Kickstarter, running this week and next. Ends Pearl Harbor Day. When I will be in Japan, for work, coincidentally.

I’ve backed it already. Maybe I’ll get a 3D printer… or use a sibling’s.

Arena Event July 4 2017, Denton

 Greetings Duellists!

This year July 4 we're going to get together for rockets and fireworks, Car Wars style.

We'll be in Denton at the Malone Chapel (just north of University/380 and Malone), I figure we will get the machine-guns rattling by 13:00 or so.

Haven't decided on Division or cars, but we'll be using Classic Car Wars rules, w/ errata and rules clarifications from SJGames CW forums; just look for the recently locked post. :/

Anyone in the area and free that day is welcome! Email me at Lokrobster (/) Gmail if you're interested.

21 hours left on the Car Wars Arenas Kickstarter... yeah I finally got to posting on the NTADA again!

Go buy some Car Wars and/or Ogre Gear!
http://www.warehouse23.com/products?search%5Bsales%5D%5B%5D=All , it all counts toward unlocking rewards, and an e23 sale is not to be taken lightly. The new AADA patch is going to look great right below my 'COME AND TAKE IT' patch on my mechanics' jacket. Not on sale or counted toward this KickStarter but awesome (and count toward your $100 level for free shipping) are the Eye in the Pyramid patches. Illuminati Confirmed. That patch will go under the Texas Flag on the aforementioned mechanics' jacket. Pics will be forth coming.

In other upcoming posts, I will finally write up the Mini Car Wars arena event from last year and post pics. This was our first shot at the super-simple rules; where we had FOUR never-before-played participants. Ramming with a Killer Kart? Nearly always fatal on all drivers.

And the Arenas KickStarter winds down. Pledge now or forever hold your piece...

We will be doing 5e 1/64 scale - Any published Division 10 vehicle can be used [including the upgrade Div5 models], and cobbled together home-brew designs [using the SJGames forum reverse-engineered numbers] may be considered.

Location will be the Cultural Hall of the Malone Chapel in Denton, TX - it's a family gather but visitors are welcome.

1/64 Scale Accessories

I've just opened a shapeways webstore for some of my 3D creations. These are all scaled for 1/64 "Hot Wheels" sized cars.

If there's something you've always wanted to see for your Car Wars Hot Wheels, let me know and I'll see about whipping it up in 3D.

New Logo

Last night I put together a logo. I'll try to incorporate it into the blog layout sometime soon.

Drive it like you stole it!

Well I went shopping tonight, and no I didn't steal anything.  Didn't have to the nice folks at Target knew i was coming and had all their Hot Wheel singles on sale!  So less than lunch at Taco Hell I picked up the start of a really nice stable of cars.  I picked out a really cool little VW Golf GTI that I'm going to outfit for small kart style races. For use as big series 5 and series 10 cars I picked up a classic '69 Pontiac GTO, big guns are the plans for this one.  Lastly because I could, what will probably be my series 10 racer a Aston Martin DBS, just for fun and snobbery!  I'll try to document their progress, I'll be using several of the techniques shown here in the tutorials so probably not much new, just sweet cars and big guns.
